Peace through Art- REACT to PROTECT Life & Heritage

Dear Artists/ Galleries/ Museums,

During the last five years since deployment of KFOR & UNMIK in Kosovo more than 230.000 Serbs and other minorities have fled Kosovo, more than 1200 have been killed by Albanian Terrorists...

During the last five years more than 130 Serbian Orthodox Monasteries and Churches has been destroyed on Kosovo by Albanian Terrorists. From 17-19 March 2004 Albanian Terrorists have Destroyed or Burned nearly 30 Serbian Orthodox Monasteries and Churches, 8 of them founded in 14-th century! Is it a call for extremists and terrorists to destroy world's heritage wherever they can?

In town of Prizren were 10 churches & Monasteries, now there is none of them.
In just 3 days (17-19 March) Albanian Terrorists have burned & Destroyed all of them:

  1. Orthodox Cathedral of the Most Holy Mother of God of Ljevis, 14th c. (Prizren)
  2. Church of Holy Salvation, 14th c. (Prizren)
  3. Orthodox Cathedral of the Holy Great Martyr George, (1856) (Prizren)
  4. Holy Archangels Monastery, 14th c. (Prizren)
  5. Church of St. George Runovic, 15th c. (Prizren, courtyard of the Episcopate)
  6. Church of St. Nicholas (Tutic church), 14th c. (Prizren)
  7. Church of St. Kyriake (Domenica), 14th c. (Prizren)
  8. Church of St. Panteleimon 14th c. (Prizren)
  9. Church of St. Kozma & Damjan 14th c. (Prizren)
  10. Church of St. Kyriake (Domenica), Zivinjane
  11. Sts. Cyril and Methodius Seminary building , with chapel  (Prizren)
  12. Episcopate - seat of the Diocese of Raska and Prizren  with chapel (Prizren)

If someone or anyone destroys the guardians of our history what we, as humans, could expect in future instead of humanity.
Orthodox Heritage on Kosovo is not only Serbian but also European and World Heritage!
